The 25th anniversary edition of the annual RSA Conference was held from Feb. 29 to March 4 in San Francisco's Moscone Center, showcasing the best and the worst that the security world has to offer, ranging from new products (check out eWEEK's slide show on RSA product announcements here) to new vulnerabilities in the emerging connected world, often referred to as the Internet of things (IoT). The hottest topic at this year's conference was the Apple-FBI court battle, which elicited comments and criticisms from both technology and U.S. government leaders who spoke at the conference. Another key issue that was raised in a number of sessions and highlighted in a keynote by Intel Security Senior Vice President Christopher Young is the ongoing challenge of finding skilled IT security professionals. While the keynote and session rooms were full, so too were the sprawling exhibit halls of the Moscone North and South conference center. Vendors attempted to differentiate themselves with all manner of giveaways and interesting booth brandings. In this slide show, eWEEK takes a look at some of the keynotes, sessions and exhibitors that were at the RSA Conference 2016 event.
