Snow probably hasn't crossed your mind yet in this summer heat. Spammers, however, are contemplating snow quite a bit—snowshoeing to be exact. As antispam systems have gotten progressively better at filtering out those pesky, malicious emails, cybercrooks are seeking new ways to nab victims. A recent Cisco blog post analyzed a technique in email that's becoming more and more popular among spammers: the "snowshoe spam".
