No key code for free app - no features available

From the mobile security website, you’ll be able to:
  • Find your phone on a map if it’s lost or stolen*
  • Activate a scream alert to find your phone nearby*
  • Remotely lock your phone to protect your personal data like passwords, contacts, and photos
How are you supposed to do any of that if you have to register first, and to register, you have to have a key code?

Thank you for the great question https:///t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3028

You simply have to make the My Webroot Account from the app after downloading it. ?

1. Download the free app from the Google Play Store

2. After installing the app click "Open"

3. Click "Accept" on the terms and conditions

4. Then click "Next" where it says
5. Enter your email address and create a password and then click "Create Account"

You will now be able to sign into your My Webroot Account with your email address and password you created. You will be prompted to create a Security Code and Security Question. After this everything should run smoothly for you! :D

Extra Info:

There are two free Webroot apps for Android.

The one that requires a Keycode is "SecureAnywhere Complete" and is the supplemental app for people who have a paid SecureAnywhere Complete subscription for their PC.

The one you actually want is titled "Webroot Security & Antivirus".  It is free, has the features you are seeking in your original message, and does not require you to enter a keycode.

Unfortunately, the Play Store likes to show two results, and they mix them up, so sometimes it shows th Complete and Paid.  Tapping the "Apps" banner just above these that lists the number of results will show all search results and allow you to get the proper app.

Then everything else applies. 🙂
