As third-platform technologies make inroads into enterprise deployments, organisations will find it increasingly difficult to ensure security, according to Megha Kumar, head of software at IDC Middle East and Africa.
Speaking today at the IDC Middle East CIO Summit, Kumar said that, because cyber-criminals target new types of technology to achieve their goals, enterprises will find protecting themselves in the era of the internet of things ever more challenging.
