I noticed this and I hope Jasper did not already post. I searched for it but nothing came up.

Anyway, here goes:

Top defense contractor left 60,000 files containing sensitive US military data on a public Amazon server without password protection

  • The 60,000 files were tied to a US military project and contained passwords for government systems
  • Files were discovered by a security analyst on the Amazon cloud server last week
  • They were connected to a US National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency project
  • Data suggests they were uploaded by a high-ranking engineer at top defense contractor Booz Allen Hamilton
  • Booz Allen said they are investigating but no classified information was leaked

To read the complete article (I hope)

Thanks,
Theresa
