The UK’s National Crime Agency says just 60 businesses with compromised servers could account for 50 percent of the phishing attacks originating from the country each month.
As part of a huge operation to arrest cybercrime suspects across the UK, which the agency called a “strike week”, 10 Regional Organised Crime Units, Police Scotland and the Police Service of Northern Ireland visited 60 companies and identified 5,531 compromises on servers.
