What makes this even more impressive is looking at the numbers...

SecureAnywhere Essentials came in first place out of 13 contenders with a score of 195 out of a theoretical maximum of 221.  These scores are considered "relative", with multiple tests and points for place in the tests.  Placing first in every test would get the 221 score.  The spread between the numbers is a relative metric for the performance across all tests.

The second place score went to Norton, who got a mere 158 points compared to SecureAnywhere's 195.  This indicates overall excellent performance and tiny system impact.

In the Antivirus-Only group, SecureAnywhere scored first place with 257 out of a potential 289 for getting first on all metrics.  The next best was again, Norton, with only 203.

Then when you look at the fact that they were testing versions 8.0.0.66 and earlier, it becomes even more impressive since so many improvements have been made since then.
