I was looking in the "Active Connections" are of Webroot and I found a couple of HP warranty updates. My computer is out of warranty so I'm going to block it.  Is there anything that I need to be aware of before I start blocking these HP update processes?  And how would I undo something that I did block?

update
Actually...I didn't mean block...I right clicked and removed.

Hello there, welcome to the Community!

You may want to consult on HP's website to determine exactly what the processes do.  If they have to do with helping to keep your hardware drivers up to date, even out of warranty, you might choose to allow them to remain.

Removing them by a right click in the Control Active Processes will terminate them at the moment, but as soon as you reboot the computer they will return.  To keep them from running at all, if it is determined safe to do so, you would need to remove them from the system startup.
