I have a Mac with Safari that has an FBI ranson note on it. How do I get rid of it?
Safari has a virus with FBI ranson note on it. Ran WEBROOT still there. help John

Hello John,
This is considered a Browser takeover page, the way to get rid of it is by removing the save state file for safari. Please try force quiting safari, then open terminal and put in this: sudo rm -Rf ~/Library/Saved Application State/com.apple.Safari.savedState
If you do not feel comfortable with sudo commands, Please call support, as putting one in wrong could be very bad.
