Hi,

I really like Webroot approach to security and for the pc (I am not fully conviced yet for mac) I feel it is the best anti-virus out there although there are very good contenders.

One area where I feel Webroot should improve is in making sure any applications you choose to protect (through the application protection) will continue to be protect if any updates are applied to them. With the exception of the web browsers, it seems all other applications you need to constantly remember to re-add them to the application protection if an update happens.

Hi Carlos

Whilst I very much understand where you are coming from it is very much safer to treat each update as a new validation...just in case malware tries to masquerade as a legitimate update and is not caught by a 'once validated always allowed' approach.

In my book, whilst annoying in some circumstances, the Webroot is the right one and probably one of the reasons that it is so efficient at protecting users.

Just my thoughts.

Regards, Baldrick
