Webroot vs Zonealarm firewall

New to Webroot.  For the past 3 years I have used:
  • Avast antivirus (free)
  • MalwareBytes Pro (paid)
  • Zonealarm firewall (free)
on my Windows7 machine.  Based on poor Amazon reviews of Avast 2015, and good reviews of Webroot plus the attention to detail regarding the replies to the comments by Webroot employees, I chose Webroot Antivirus

My question: I currently have Webroot's firewall off and all seems well.  Should I turn on Webroot's firewall and ununstall Zonealarm?

Hi Max -  welcome to the community forum.

The short answer to your question is YES. Webroot's firewall monitors the outgoing traffic whilst the Windows firewall monitors the incoming. They work very well together.  You do not need ZA so I would uninstall it and ensure that you activate your Windows firewall afterwards.
