how do I get webroot off my computer?
I need this program off . I have tried the uninstaller in control panel and it does not show up as web root.

Sorry that you are having problems and need to uninstall Webroot. If there is anything we can do to assist please feel free to ask.
If not,
1. Open the Start menu by clicking the Start icon.
2. From an elevated/administrator command prompt or the Start Search bar,
Type the following exactly as it appears below.
"C:Program FilesWebrootWRSA.exe" -uninstall
3. Press the Enter key on your keyboard.
4. When prompted to uninstall, click Yes.
5. If all else fails you can contact Support at 1-866-612-4227 or submit that Support Ticket
https://www.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp and request futher assistance.

That didn't work for me either.
Nothing came up on search.
The filtering extension is still on my computer although removed Webroot

Sorry you are having trouble wateroak.
I would suggest opening a ticket with support and let them assist you directly. I'm sure they will be able to get right to the issue.

You say that the filtering extension is still on your system although WSA has been uninstalled. If that is the case and you mean by that it is still showing in the Extension Manager of one or more browsers then please advise as to which browsers are concerned, and from that we might be in a position to advise further.
