Hello,

I was trying to download a program file and got the warning message "w32.malware.gen." Everyone else said it was safe that has downloaded it before me but I just wanted someone on here to check to see if it was a false positive before opening. I seen that it was quickly diagnosed for others on this forum searching the tag
"w32.malware.gen." The URL is below...

Thanks!

1) Um, you got Webroot warning message "w32.malware.gen." with Cool Edit Pro 2.1 download ?
2) Um, from this distance "it's safe to download" as per Webroot scan and second opinion VT.
3) Note: MediaFire is Ad-Supported so employ click aware caution.
