where are quarantined files stored?

After I ran webroot for the first time, my printer stopped working. I discovered that spoolsv.exer and spoolss.dll had been deleted. I realize that these files are often replaced with infected files, but I need to get the original good files installed so I can print again. Any suggestions?

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

That's a good question as far as I know it's embedded into WSA itself I don't think there is an actual place to see them? I will ask some of our Threat Researchers and our Community Manager on that info! @ @ @ Also you can restore files from here: http://www.webroot.com/En_US/SecureAnywhere/PC/WSA_PC_Help.htm#C5_Quarantine/CH5a_ManagingQuarantine.htm

Thanks,

Daniel 😉

I think what you really want to know is how to get them out of quarantine, right?  Click on the gear symbol next to PC Security, then click on the Quarantine tab, and then you'll be able to restore anything you need.

Quaranined files can only be restored through the GUI - you would not be able to locate the quarantined files on disk and restore them.
