Hello ?,

Welcome to the Webroot Community.

To reinstall your Password Manager please install this toolbar fix.

Hope this info helps,

bd
Hi,
I downloaded this tool and ran it and nothing happened.  Several times.  The first time it ran, it seemed to refer me to itunes which asked for my password, which I typed in and then a message popped up that the Web store was unavailable. Then nothing else happened.
Hi ?,

Not sure what is happening. After downloading and running the toolbarfix you should see this screen;

Choose the Repair/Install, accept terms, and be sure all browsers are closed , then click start.

Please try again as the link I've given you is correct (just tested) and let us know how it goes.

If you are on a Mac then please let me know. :)

Thanks,
bd

Hi LindaFre

Welcome to the Community Forums.

If the advice provided by BD does not sort the isue, and sometimes it is true to say that the Toolbarfix does appear to have a mind of its own, then you can try the following manual workaround, for Chrome, assuming that you feel confindent as to your technical skills. Having said that the process is relatively simple, and is as follows:

Navigate to C:ProgramDataWRDataPKG...note that this is a hidden folder and so you will either need to adjust the settings using the Control Panel's Folder Options to view such folders, or you can use the programdataWRData commend in the Search field under the Start Menu and then select the PKG folder from the list provided.

Then, open the Chrome Extensions page in the browser, and at the top of the page check Developer Mode to be 'On'.

After that drag the following file from the from the PKG folder to the Extensions page:

      lpchrome.crx

After the drag 'n drop await the message that one is trying to install a new extension to which you should answer 'Install'.

Once the extension is installed uncheck the Developer Mode and enjoy...you should have the extension now working under Chrome.

Hope that is of assistance?

Hello ?,

It would be important to note whether or not you are using a Mac or Windows machine. I'm guessing Mac at this point but we are not sure.

On a Windows machine, clicking the trashcan in your extensions list in Chrome should not remove the extension, simply disable it, to which you just need to re-check the box to enable it.

If this and the above solutions are not working for you, it would be best to contact support so they can resolve this for you.

Hi James

Respectfully I have to say that "On a Windows machine, clicking the trashcan in your extensions list in Chrome should not remove the extension, simply disable it, to which you just need to re-check the box to enable it." is not the case. When I go into the Chrome extension on my Win 10 system and click on the trash can to the right of the extension it is deleted (once I have click 'OK' to a warning message.

Might you be advising as to what happens on a Mac?

Hi LindaFre,

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

If I may jump in and say if you are running a Mac then please use this PWM Toolbar Fix for a Mac.

?,

This is the case on a Windows 7 machine and earlier versions.

I have not had the opportunity to test in Windows 10 yet, so perhaps that is something specific to that OS?

Update to my previous post.

I tested again, and this time it completely removed it. Seems odd that it did not do that the first time though. I'll continue looking into this.
