Is FrostWire6 a serious threat to my computer. If yes... then in what way?

A friend of mine who a computer expert of sorts recently turned me on to FrostWire6 as a source to collect music for my computer.  I do not share, copy or forward this music to anyone.  In fact, I have not even familiarized myself with FrostWire or downloaded any music yet,,, but I am already getting warning from my Webroot SecureAnywhere protection on my computer. Please give me the pros and cons of using this site... and don't sugarcoat anything.

PS:  I am not a "Techie".  I was not even sure which of the 3 'SecureAnywhere' choices I had above to "Select Location", so I picked "Complete".

Well ignoring the illegal part of things using P2P/Torrenting software can be a minefield if you do not know what you are doing. Expect to get all sorts of incorrect music in bad quality or possibly not even the music you are looking for. The program itself is no danger but its what you can download that is the issue.

Thanks for the heads-up.  What you said makes good sense.
