Microsoft Edge for Windows 10

I am currently using Webroot for Windows 10 and I use the Microsoft Edge browser and was wonding if webroot protects browser while searching? Also I feel you need to add the Webroot Filting Extension to Edge as well.

Re: Microsoft Edge for Windows 10

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

At this time Webroot doesn't support Microsoft Edge as Microsoft is being very strict with Edge with allowing only certain extensions to work within Edge but Webroot is constantly working with Microsoft on getting WSA to support Edge at some point in time. But be sure if you land on a bad website and if something tries to download WSA's realtime shield will protect you! Also Internet Explorer, Firefox and Chrome are protected by WSA just not Edge.

Re: Microsoft Edge for Windows 10

Actually just did a test and the Web Filter Driver does protect Edge if you go to a bad Website but it doesn't support the Web Filter extension at this time! Smiley Wink
