What are we to expect/look forwards to in terms of new capabilities for 2017 version?

Webroot as far as I know is protecting our computers like they always have. Nothing new that I am aware of. Webroot is still the same excellent protection no matter what year it is IMO. Only the Webroot Developers know what's ahead.

WSA does provide excellent protection against the Crypto malware, Ransomeware, but keep in mind that new variants are constantly being released in an attempt to stay ahead of software like WSA.
 
In some situations where it has gotten past, Webroot Support has been able to help by way of the rollback, etc.
