Hi, I just entered a new keycode to renew my protection. I didnt use the disc that came with it because I already had webroot so I just entered the new keycode. It is a 5 device protection. I thought it would also show my son's computer as renwed, and my smartphone as well. It doesnt. How do I re-add his laptop and my phone under the same renewal?

Hello and Welcome to the Webroot Community @

If you have a new keycode, you can activate it as follows on your sons computer.
 1. Open SecureAnywhere.
 2. Click the gear icon next to My Account. Your account panel displays.
 3. Under Activate a new keycode, enter the keycode you want to add and click Activate. If you would like to also add your keycode to your online management account, click here for instructions.e
It would be best to uninstall Webroot and reinstall on your mobile device.
Look here to install Webroot on your Mobile if it's an Android. https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Antivirus/Installing-Webroot-SecurityAnywhere-Mobile/ta-p/147065

EDITED: Please Submit a Support Ticket if you use Password Manager so that the support team can transfer your passwords to your new keycode.

Hi Sherry, Thank you for your response. I already did what you suggested. My problem is that the other computer (my sons) was also previously protected with the last security plan I had with webroot. I thought when I upgraded it would automatically show his as updated/rennewed as well because he was already on the list of protected PC's, but it isnt showing this. How do I go about getting his pc to be protected as it was prior to the new keycode? Do I give him the new keycode and he enter it on his pc? I have done this before, I just cant remember what I did when I renewed last year. Thanks in advance for any info...

Hi dna4att,

Yes you can give your Son the new keycode and he can follow the instructions that I gave you in my first post.

After your Son enters this keycode. It should show up on the Account Console as protected.

If you have any issues remember you can always contact Webroot Support.

Hope this helps?

Hi again dna4att,

If your Son's computer does not show up on the Account Console as protected. Have him do a manual scan of Webroot and reboot.

Let us know how it goes won't you?

dna4att, one more thing to mention and that is if you and your son are using Password Manager. Please look here @ post encase you were not aware of this. https://community.webroot.com/t5/Webroot-SecureAnywhere-Complete/If-I-should-let-my-son-use-on-will-he-be-able-to-assess-my-pass/m-p/236133#M15730
