connection
My computer keeps doping the internet connection i just got new cable and internet but its not they net. My laptop said an error about protocals..... no idea whats going on some one please help

I do not know much about internet protocol errors. What browser are you using and have you tried using another browser? How long have you been getting this error? Do you think this error started with Webroot?

Have you called your ISP and told them about your connection being eratic/jumpy? They might be able to reset your modem.

If I may add to what Sherry has posted here, Have you ever rebooted your router? Sometimes I have to reboot my router because Verizon may do an update and that sometimes messes up my internet connection.
To reboot the router: Unplug your electrical connection to the router for about 2 minutes. Then plug it back in and wait for it to reload, a few minutes (I usually wait 5 minutes). See if that helps, it's worth a try. ;)
