Can not get installation to complete. It is a renewal and It shows an infection.

Sorry to here all of that. may I ask if it is what a call a 'true' renewal, i.e., you have just added time to your existing subscription and so there is no new keycode issues or if it is an 'ersatz' renewal, i.e., you have bought a new subscription and in this case there is a new keycode issued?
The reason I ask is if it is the former then there is no need to uninstall/install anything...there is even no need to enter a key as the new subscription period will be added there and then to the exising (not for a Best Buy purchase where the additional time is added only when the existing subscription has ended) keycode.
If we can clear that up then we can look to seeing about the infection.
