Hi sneves44

Welcome to the Community Forums.

You will have to shut down protection completely, on a temporary basis...;)...and the quickest way is to right click on the WSA notification tray icon, select 'Shutdown protection' from the options displayed and then follow the guiding prompts re. the CAPTCHA character entry...and that should do it.

Just don't forget to restart WSA by double clicking on the WSA desktop icon when done.

Thank you! that did it and it WAS the process locking it.

Hi sneves44

No worries...glad to be able to help.

There will hopefully, in the future, be a feature where fiels & folders can be excluded from WSA scans which would then allow one to nominate the said file/app to be exempt. This is currently a feature request under consideration so...as I said previously...will hopefully make it into the product shortly. ;)
