Hello JEW, and Welcome to the Webroot Community.

When a site is being blocked you should see the options "Unblock page and continue", "Change classification" and "Get me out of here" as described here: http://live.webrootanywhere.com/content/1367/Managing-Web-Threats

You may also like to look up the site at: http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/url-ip-lookup.php

Or request a change here: http://www.brightcloud.com/tools/change-request-url-reputation.php

Please let us know if you have any questions.

We offer regulated financial products in the UK and have a public WHOIS registration and a GREEN BAR SSL from Comodo.

An investor has told us he has decided not to invest because we are marked as a suspicous website. When we checked this out we found your product is the one notifying him and in actual fact hurting our business.

After looking at yiour site, I see OUR site has been reported as suspicous. I find it highly troubling that you guys choose to say about our site the following: "These are suspicious sites. There is a higher than average probability that the user will be exposed to malicious links or payloads."

Even if this is the case, I would suggest you email a site owner before marking a site as a suspicous site or at least to notify the site owner about this marking so the owner can act and do something to prevent this.

We do not know how many people have been put off from our site due to this notification, but if you do not have any proof that there is a security breach or that we are a malicious site then this is nothing less than defamation.

YOUR URGENT ASSISTANCE IS REQUESTED, and we ask for a written confirmation that this has now been removed.

thank you.

Hi Bassetgold

Welcome to the Community Forums.

Sorry to hear that this is the case...there are sometimes some false positives which is unfortuante.

What you can do is to request a Change of URL Reputation via this website, the instructions on how to do this are included. Alternatively, you can contact Webroot Support on the appropriate number on this web page and explain the position to them. I am sure that they will investigate this for you.

Regards, Baldrick
