Renewal

My subscription ran out for Webroot. I followed the directions on the screen and renewed the service. I have a confirmation page indicating that I have paid. Webroot is still indicating that my service is not renewed. It says that threats are detected on my laptop but won't remove them. In the middle of all of this, my browser quit connecting to the internet on my laptop. (Nothing wrong with the internet service-other devices are connecting fine). Help please!

Hello rarober2 and Welcome to the Webroot Community Forums.

Sorry to hear about your issues can you tell me if it's a Best Buy Subscription Service where you renewed or Directly from Webroot?

Thanks,

Daniel 😉
Appears to be a best Buy service. My order summary is for Webroot Secure Anywhere, but the Best Buy emblem is at the top of the page.

Ok your going to have to contact GeekSquad and as far as I know it takes 24 hours for there system to update the subscription here is there contact info at the very bottom: http://www.webroot.com/us/en/home/products/geeksquad-dl and if it is wrong contact Webroot and make sure you have your sales slip http://www.webroot.com/us/en/company/contact-us

Thanks,

TripleHelix is entirely correct.  The Best Buy renewal system does not use 'live billing' when you provide/update credit card information.  All renew billing is done automatically in daily batches, so if you entered the credit card today, it will renew tonight.

If by 8 AM Central Time tomorrow your WSA has not relflected a renewal, you will want to call them at 1-800-GEEK-SQUAD to check the status of the renewal.
