Webroot Filtering Extension won't let me sign in

Since yesterday my webroot filtering extension has not allowed me to sign into it.  When I click on the webroot icon in chrome, it gives 3 options: 1) A link to it's Chrome web store page    2) Hide from Chrome Menu      3) a link to chrome extensions.

The 'Options' link in the menu is greyed out.

In the chrome extensions menu the webroot extension is enabled.

So why is it not working? Any help is appreciated

Hello fuzzy2optimal

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

May I say that one does not sign into the Webfilter. You can though sign into the Password Manager.

 • Open a web browser and sign in to your SecureAnywhre account. (Click the “Webroot icon” in your browser’s toolbar, then enter your Webroot user name and password.) The icon will be greyed out until you sign in.

Hi Sherry,

You are right! The real problem is that my password manager has disappeared. Since I could only see one webroot icon I presumed that the web filter was the password manager.

I followed this thread and used the toolbarfix to reinstall the password manager.

Thanks for your help
