Hope I am putting this on the right board.  Webroot has blocked an update to adobe flash 3 times now. I dont know if this is a windows 10 error or not, but right from day 1 of using windows 10 it says adobe is out of date. I once tried to update it, but got a pop-up saying adobe updates on its on and should not be updated. Today while I was on the internet , the box popped up on the screen saying to update now with the download box at the bottom left of the screen. It temporarily froze the screen & then the webroot box came up in the lower right hand corner  in red saying a warning of suspiscious activity or something to that effect & then quarentined the item.   I noticed 2 more quarentined items with the same  item. The code for them is #

Did you download from here? https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ be sure to uncheck any unwanted add-ons (PUA's).

Also delete that version you have (flashplayer.exe in c : users kathy downloads) First!

There are many types of Malware that try to install as a Adobe Flash Update so just delete it, and Windows will update for Win 8 and 10 from Windows Updates for Edge and Internet Explorer as well Chrome will on every new build but if you need for other browsers like Firefox then install only from here: https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

Thanks,

Well Submit a Support Ticket and ask them to do a security check and it's free with your paid subscription! You may not even need an update and you can check your version here to see the latest: http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/

Thanks,
