"Those who've written Chrome toolbars or other multipurpose add-ons will have to take a new approach by June or see their software booted from Google's app store. And no new multipurpose extensions are allowed starting now"

Hmm... wonder if they'll kick the Webroot Reputation Toolbar out. Hope not!

Webroot toolbar is gone. Replace by the 2014 Webroot filter externsion. I am glad they are doing this. Thats why I only use Google Chrome as a browser. Havent touched IE in like 10 years now.

They say they are also kicking out "multipurpose extensions."

I wonder how they define that?

Good point, Corey

Why can these articles never be clearer as to what they mean...perhaps they don't know/have not decided which one...yet!

But as you say...will be interesting to see what is foist upon the users. 😠
