I'm not sure if this is a security update or not as there are no release notes at this time. Also not everyone uses the Shockwave Player as it is different than Adobe Flash Player.

Note to people: Unless you know for a FACT that something you use needs Shockwave you should remove it. Usually it comes pre-installed on PCs for absolutely no reason. I've literally never run into anything that needed it in 6 years. It is a legitimate security risk.

Great suggestion the last time I used it was when Atom Films was still alive and I have saved many of the films that still use Shockwave Player so in this case keep it updated.
