Hackers are taking full advantage of compromised customer email accounts by using them as a means to extract money from banks.
 
"Hacked and phished email accounts increasingly are serving as the staging grounds for bank fraud schemes targeting small businesses," reports Krebs on Security. In a recent event, a bank employee was duped into wiring money from an actual customer's account to a fraudulent account that belonged to scammers.
