Hi there brihy1,

This is definitly not normal behavior if SecureAnywhere is installed properly. There could be a problem with either the installation of SecureAnywhere or it may be related to a problem with the User account.  So that we can help figure out what is causing this problem, please click on the link below and create a Support Ticket.

Do you have any problems when trying to use Internet Explorer, I am wondering if this is a Firefox issue?

Hi Brihy,

Yes, actually Howard sent me that, and I sent you the support response.  I'll go ahead and post it here for anyone else who wants to see it.

Please note that if this solution proves difficult to follow, support can perform it for you, but you will need to open a support ticket here: https://detail.webrootanywhere.com/servicewelcome.asp

The workaround is as follows:

In Windows 7 or Vista, copy the contents of
C:Users*Your Admin Account*AppDataRoamingMozillaFirefoxProfiles*Your Admin Profile*extensions{8ac62a8b-8b3f-43ba-9b1a-90c299b9dfda}
to
C:Users*Standard User*AppDataRoamingMozillaFirefoxProfiles*Standard User Profile*extensions{8ac62a8b-8b3f-43ba-9b1a-90c299b9dfda}

Then restart Firefox.

In Windows XP, copy the contents of
C:Documents and Settings*Your Admin Account*Application DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles*Your Admin Profile*extensions{8ac62a8b-8b3f-43ba-9b1a-90c299b9dfda}
to
C:Documents and Settings*Standard User*Application DataMozillaFirefoxProfiles*Standard User Profile*extensions{8ac62a8b-8b3f-43ba-9b1a-90c299b9dfda}

Then restart Firefox.

I hope this information is helpful.
