Webroot won't reinstall

So I recently just got Webroot and started using it yesterday. It was working very nice until today. The Chrome password extension wasn't working, so I looked through the forums here to find a possible solution. I did contact tech support for help and they told me it should work now.  However, before they got back to me, I uninstalled the extension to attempt reinstalling it. I can't get that to work. Some where in the forums, someone suggested uninstalling Webroot completely and deactivating it from the console. So, I deactivated it, Webroot uninstalled automatically, I went back to reactivate, went to reinstall it, and it asks for my keycode, opens up and then just goes away suddenly. I can't open it up again right away because it is actually uninstalled again. I can't get Webroot to stay put and work. The keycode is right. I have it reactivated in the console. I have the latest download link. I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Hello EarthRyno and Welcome to the Webroot Community!

Try to download and install again.  If it un-installs itself again, get back in touch with Support to have them check the queue of commands sent from the Console.  I have never seen this happen but it almost sounds like the deactivate command is stuck.  Hopefully one more install will take care of it!

One other thing to note: I have seen in the past that following a re-install of WSA even though the Password Manager does not seem to show up, I dont need to re-install it.  One time in the past it was actually still present but disabled.  You may want to check your browser extensions/add ons after the WSA reinstall to see if the extensions for it are actually there but disabled.
Thank you, David.

I tried a few things and eventually something worked. Not sure what I did, but I got it all going now. Even the password extension! I did contact support, so they may have done something for me and I just don't know it.

But now I can't login to Backup & Sync from the application. It keeps saying my Username or Password is invalid. I contacted support for it, so hopefully they get back to me.

Thanks again though for helping!

You might want to log into the Account Console and double check the settings under Manage Users.  Make sure that you have the permissions for Backup & Synch enabled on that user profile, and also check to make sure that user profile shows the same active key code that you used to install WSA with.
