"Tech, I'd like to introduce you to Fashion...Fashion this is Tech".

As speculation continues about Apple getting into the wearable computing business, numerous reports (like this PC Mag story) confirm that the world's most valuable tech company has hired YSL CEO Paul Deneve, luring him away from his post in one of the world's most famous fashion houses to take on a 'Special Projects' role. And while the seemingly unlikely partnership may see strange to some, Deneve is actually quite the Apple vet-in fact, he served as the manager of sales and marketing for them in the 90's in Europe. If anything, this move adds more fuel to the iWatch-is-imminent fire.

"...But if reports mentioning the "special projects" nature of Deneve's assignment are accurate, his mission will likely be far more interesting than simply shepherding the growth of Apple's retail operation. Deneve's unique mix of Apple experience and fashion world success would appear to make him a perfect ambassador for what could be Apple's first real foray into wearable technology."

Is this the definite clue to shatter any remaining doubts of whether an iWatch is coming? If so, will the device be exactly what Apple needs to bring the company back to its innovative roots? Thoughts?
