When it comes to boot times, faster is better, and getting a full restart down to a mere 8-seconds is much better than what many devices have seen before. Sure, this is being demoed for Chromium OS — the open source version of Google's ChomeOS — but also for Android tablets and that's some pretty impressive stuff.
