Hello and welcome to the community! what you can do to block these is to use a alternative dns server. there are many to choose from and some are very good in what they do , they can block porn / erotica / gambling / hacking / violence sites. just look around on google. this community prohibbets the name mentioning of security products , just search google for best dns server or dns server test and you will definately find one , that serves your needs! I hope my answer will help you out a bit. 😛

I recommend OpenDNS for that if your router doesn't support it.

There are several options that can be used. For personal users or for those who want granular reporting for each user I recommend Covenant Eyes to fit the bill. For those in a business environment I recommend using DNSFilter which does the same thing as OpenDNS but gives more granular control with category / blacklist / whitelist capabilities and pricing is based on amount of traffic starting at only $5 per month for a whole network.

Is there a tool out there that I can use to block individual pictures or the work of an individul user?  I am on an art site and there are just some artists that spoil it for the rest of us with thier fetish art and their outright nasty artwork.

I use Firefox browser and there is an extension for it called uBlock Orign that allows me to block specific pictures on a website or all pictures with wildcards. The only problem is I might have to see them the first time I visit a site to create the filters. Unfortunately naming conventions of pictures do not often portrait their contents properly and there is no way for software to know the contents efficiently.

@, I don't have any experience with this extension, but it sounds like it automatically blocks all images associated to anything Pornographic.

I have  Adblock Plus.  I wonder if it can just block content from that particular user's page.  It is one artist that is especially gross.  It is only her content that I don't want to see.

In uBlock origin you can right-click on one of the offending images and edit the filter like this:

offensivesite.com/web/home/*.jpg

If the artist has their own directory for images or pattern to their image naming convention then you can block all by them.

search- "porn"
for example -hosts or add this filter to ublock

I am going to experiment with the Ublock.  It sounds like it will do what I want it to do.

Timeloop--It works great.  It hid the really offensive material.
