Hi All

Form some reason my email will not download from gmail on the thunderbird client. it appears to be being blocked from the google end but without any reason why apart from a small box that says to sign in on the browser.

while looking for a solution I found that mozilla are no longer supporting thunderbird so I'm a bit stuck.

Any ideas.

one thing I should add is that I finnaly got the VPN running again, so could google think I trying to hack my on email?

Yea Gmail can be sensitive to IP changes from different parts of the country or world! And Thunderbird is still being supported! https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/thunderbird

problem is with google, looks to me as an attempt to have me switch to their client.

I tried to use the built in app on windows 10 and that couldn't connect either. had to go into the settings and allow access foe "less secure apps" in google

If they keep this up I'll be looking for a new search engine and email account.
