Today I spent over an hour on the phone with a Vitamin Company trying to fix a glitch in their website. This is a website that I have been getting vitamins and other health related items for almost 10 years. I went to their website today to change my email address. After changing the address I logged out and then logged back in with the new address. I never save credit cards on any online account but I went to "Add Credit Card" link on the website. After I clicked the link and BINGO - I seen about 60 to 70 credit card numbers (last 4 digits) Names, Addresses, Expiry Dates. I could delete or edit any credit card. This all happened because I changed my email address. The Company thanked me for being honest and gave me a $100.00.gift certificate on my next order and Free Shipping for Life. Good Lesson: Never Save Your Credit Card Number on Any Online Account.

Hello. I waited till now for upgrading to W10 fearing to face the typical malfunctions of an immature product, but it seems that there are still problems, as just at the first day of use I hit one of them! In fact, after upgrading to 10 my pc keeps awaking from suspension at the tiniest move of any of the mouses (yes I have two mouses, for both hands). One of the mouses is a Logitech wireless trackball, this device caused this same problem with 8.1 upon installation, but after unchecking the boxes “allow this device to wake up the computer” in all right places I solved the problem. This same configuration has been correctly inherited by W10, but now the system doesn't work as it should! Did anyone of you experienced a similar problem, or can help? This is a quite annoying malfunction for me and I think to rollback to 8.1 (hoping that this works!).

Today we are releasing 19H2 Build 18362.10012 and Build 18362.10013 to Windows Insiders in the Slow ring. As a reminder, we are testing the ability to ship these updates with features turned off by default so that we can then turn them on via controlled feature rollouts. This helps us gain better feedback on overall build quality. A subset of Insiders in the Slow ring will have features turned off by default, and another subset will have them turned on by default. As detailed in the Perils of Gr8auntteffie in another post, I was recently sandbagged by an 'improvement' of Outlook that has left me trying to find my flagged email folder where all my client art files and pertinent informtation had been placed for ease of reference and use... Anyway, that's another tale of woe, but this inquiry is woe-adjacent. I kept getting the notcies about how the Windows 8.1 upgrade was available for free ( tried it, crashed my laptop and that was enough of a tech adventure for me!) and then came the free upgrade to Windows 10 which recently 'expired' at the gratis point. Because of that, I am sure that is why my Internet Explorer has begun to just perpetually load a page when you try to navigate from my MSN homepage, but never ACTUALLY load anything and then it freezes up and I have to restart my computer. And, because IE wasn't behaving properly, I added Firefox on my laptop which has been working beautifully ( with the exception of b

Hi everyone! Firstly, I'm sorry I've not been hovering around here for a while but was quite poorly over Christmas - nothing to do with too much turkey, nut roast, chocolate, mayonaise, olives, blue cheese, etc. etc. :D I must say "thanks a bundle"! to all involved in making me a Community Leader! Magic! :D Now then, the serious bit, I'm due to renew my subscription but just found a 50% off Webroot Promo code for a new seperate keycode and wondered if it will merge OK with my current product or should I put a support ticket in for someone to give it a tweak?

Hey all I'm back testing it alongside ninja rmm and I'm testing it in a VM against our current offering which is Bitdefender GZ. I think webroot may work out a bit cheaper. So far I can see its a lot lighter, instant install and uninstall. I managed to get both VMs ransomed using some test malware. How does webroot journal restore work? I heard it can reverse the encryption and virus damage some how? That would be a big positive. Still a bit apprehensive after the two big hiccups this year resulting webroot killing machines (when we trialled it last it deleted a DNS dll file on two of the machines)

Being dead clever (sic) I got a new phone. I ported the apps and files across and reset the old phone to factory settings. net result is that 2FA is up the swannee. I have tried to remove it as per instructions but as I seem to have forgotten one of the security answers I can get no further. I also recently had my sons computer handed down to me as he bought a new one, as this was already on the account I just removed my old one. I find now that I cannot access the web console from the task bar. not sure if that is relevant but I thought it should be mentioned.. in short:- HELP,

I am indeed new here so please forgive me # 1 if I've put this post in the wrong Forum. #2 if this is a dumb question. LOL I have ran the GWX exe at the suggestion of a dear friend and it has indeed resloved my Win 10 issue. I have run the Diagnostics and have only one error message. "Software Protection service=NOT running." Now I have read some of the methods of fixing this issue. My question is and please forgive me for asking this but is there a simple solution for fixing this issue? Instead of trying this and trying that as a possible solution I'd rather do what some one suggests who knows what will definitely fix my problem. "This is what is stated in the Trouble Shooting Guide for my Problem"

Try some of Microsoft's Windows Update troubleshooters. The first one I'd try would be the one located at the bottom of [url=http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Windows-Upd
