Windows 10 High ram usage
I'm noticing that after i keep my lap top on for more than 1 day, my ram usage with nothing open goes from about 2 gigs of ram to 9 gigs just being on doing nothing (windows 10 64 bit). The only thing i can find that might be causing it is in virtual memory the no paging file needs to be set, is anyone else having this high ram usage issue? Does anyone have a resolution for this or wait for the next update?

Today we are excited to be releasing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 15025 for PC to Windows Insiders in the Fast ring as the primary build for the second Creator’s Update Bug Bash which starts on Friday. Please look for a detailed bug bash blog post on Friday morning PST. We have discovered a bug that impacts our ability to release this build to PCs running 32-bit (x86) versions of Windows 10 Insider Preview builds. Because the majority of Insiders in the Fast ring have PCs running 64-bit (x64) – we decided to go ahead and release this build with 32-bit PCs blocked until our next flight. We plan to release ISOs fo
Disaster Recovery - The Inevitable TruthBlog
With Ransomware continuing to take down digital infrastructure across the globe and natural disasters seemingly more dramatic every year, having a disaster recovery plan for your business has never been more critical. The time is past when a simple “backup plan” was sufficient for a company relying on servers and its data to be available at a moment’s notice.Disaster recovery is the process of devising failsafes to allow a business to bounce back from adverse events, like a hurricane disabling a server or ransomware locking down entire banks of computers. Employing disaster recovery as a service (DRaaS) is now a vital part of a strong cyber resilience plan for every market, from small businesses to Fortune 500 companies. The truth is, almost every industry has trended digital for the past two decades. As such, being prepared for the inevitable disaster is on par with cybersecurity in terms of importance. Because let’s face it: something will happen to company data at some point. Even if

Make Resiliency & Rapid Recovery Your Goal
We all know that Security is in the forefront, things such as SAT DNS Protection, firewalls, VPN Connections all play a massive role in getting the weakest link in the organization as best educated and equipped as humanly possible. Data is and always has been the single most important asset that any company possess. Accidental deletions, system failures, natural disasters, bad actors, and the list can go on, is always a WHEN it is going to happen, and never an IF it is going to happen.Data loss, production loss, reputational loss, all form a very close bond and the cost of these can and does have a signific negative impact on any organization. With the above mindset, resiliency and rapid recovery should become the goal. We are talking about so much more than just a restore point, a single backup copy or making multiple copies. You must architect an optimized and simplified recovery experience that will help you get back up and running quickly, even at scale.Truly optimizing for the reco
Windows 10 and screen shots
Hello, everyone! I have an off-beat question about screen shots in Windows 10. Part of my issue is my keyboard. It is a wireless Logitech K360. Wonderful keyboard, except for some reason they put the print screen option on the home key. I used to have to press the windows, control, and printscreen keys simultaneously to grab a screenshot (which worked about 80% of the time). Since upgrading to Windows 10, I find this doesn't work at all now. Would anyone know of other viable print screen options for Windows 10? Thank you so much! ~Tamela

Cyberlink's Power2Go Un-Install problems
Hey Guys and Gals :) I am very familiar with o/s for windows through XP Home addition so I'm not exactly new to this... I am however fairly new to Windows 7 and that is what my laptop came with. Ok... That being said, I am using (Add and Remove Programs) to un-install the Power2Go program and it is giving me the following message... "The installation source for this program is not available. Verify that the source exists and you can access it. C:WindowsInstallere393c.msi" note: the directory c:windowsinstaller actually does not exist on my harddrive and cannot find any such file with search. I am wondering if there is an easy way to completely remove this program safely without manually going through my registry and deleting every key that refers to Power2Go after manually deleting the program files from my hd. Thanks for you help in advance guys and gals.

No more used games? Wrong Answer, says GameStop.
When Edge initially reported that the the new Xbox console would likely need an active Internet connection to work and would eliminate second-hand games, the 'comments' section naturally filled with replies ranging from utter disbelief, to "giving up on console gaming" messages, to sheer anger. Now while this claim is still a wave in a sea of speculation and rumors floating around until the next-gen consoles from Microsoft (and Sony) actually get revealed, GameStop was quick to voice it's opinion on the idea of a used game-blocking console: [i]"We know the desire to purchase a next-generation console would be significantly diminished if new consoles were to prohibit playing pre-owned games, limit portability, or not play new physical games", said GameSto
Task Scheduler Error Message
I keep getting the following error message when I try to start Task Scheduler: It tells you to refresh but when I do all that happens is that the message returns. It's very annoying. My research online has thrown up a workaround. On my system, the Disk Defrag Schedule was turned off, so I turned it back on and resolved the issue. Unfortunately the 'solution' is only temporary as the next time I try to access Task Scheduler, I get the same annoying message again. Each time I have to change the Defrag setting (on,off or time) to get it working again. Just wondering if anyone knows of a permanent solution so that I can keep my blood pressure down! :D I'm using Win 7 Pro 64. Many thanks in advance. Nemo
Hi'ya peeps! I've just got a Kobo Touch e-reader (£30 through the Money Saving Expert website!) and have been trying to connect it to the web but don't know which password to use, there is a password and a passphrase on the router and (as instructed by Virgin help) I've tried putting the passphrase (wireless settings) in but it dosen't accept it; not sure if I should try the password (super hub settings) in case I somehow muck things up. Yet again, any help would be brill. :@
