Dell has called me because my computer hasn't done any updates with them. I'm not sure if I can trust them or not. I did call them back with the number I have when I got my computer. The tech checked my computer and said that my IP address was hacked and this person was uploading porn using my IP address from a site called (~ Snip ~ PTD). He then said that they can correct this for a $399 price tag. I told him no because my Anti Virus protection should of caught this. Am I correct in thinking Webroot should of found this? Or what do I do to get this problem fixed. Can any one help me with this problem Please.

PTD ~ Removed name of Website.

Hello @girleygirl5555 , Welcome to the Webroot Community Forum.

This sounds like a scam. Since you let the person on your computer it would be best to contact Webroot Support to see what that person had done to your computer.
Note: I removed the name of the website even though it was not a link.

Please submit a Support Ticket or Contact Webroot Support to sort this problem. This service is FREE with a Paid Subscription.
Support Ticket System is Open 24/7

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

HTH,
Dave.
