Apple has released the sixth beta version of macOS Big Sur to users who are registered in the beta testing program.

Typically a developer beta version comes out first and is soon followed by a public beta release of the same build.

Separately, Apple also released iOS 14 beta 7 and iPadOS 14 beta 7 for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad, along with new beta updates to watchOS 7 and tvOS 14.

Just curious whether Webroot is testing its software under Big Sur to identify compatibility issues. I imagine it must be doing so.

I think a lot of users are concerned about any repeat of what happened last year with Catalina. Understandably, that update was a huge one. I don’t know if Apple made huge changes again to the macOS with Big Sur. Looking at the article in MacWorld and at Apple’s recent announcement, Big Sur gives one the impression that it has more to do with changes to the user interface rather than drastic changes under the hood.
