Someone posted this on reddit and I thought it was a neat infographic.  Has anyone had these happen to them?

I went to Paris for my Birthday in 2010 with my boyfriend (who was then my fiancee a few days later), we had a few instances of the found ring. The first one was a young man, he gave us the ring, started to walk off, then came back and insisted we take him for coffee. We refused, of course, and gave him back the ring. He was not very impressed with us, not the easy mark he thought we were.

Thank you for sharing.

Scammers of all kinds are everywhere. More people need to be vigillant as you were on your trip to Paris!
