OK, what exactly is the problem of problems? We need some details if we are to try to help you. ;)
 
"I didn't even back it up."...what did you not back up? And if so then how were you wnatingto back it up?
 
"I don't know what happened."...what where you expecting to happen?
 
"I don't know what to do now."...what is your current position? If you did not back upi your system or it did not backup automatically then why not try the back up process again (apologies, there may be a very good reason why not but I do not have the details)
 
"I also need to update it."...what do you need to update? Your system? And if so are you referring to Windows Updates or some other updates? If so then which ones?
