By Elana Pidgeon / Junior Editor, Windows BlogDid you know that with the Windows 10 Creators Update, you can now lower the amount of blue light emitted from your PC at night with Night light?
By reducing the blue light emitted by your screen, the Night light feature helps you sleep better. With Night light, when you’re working late, your brain is better ready to power down for a good night’s sleep. Smartphone users love this feature and now, it’s coming to Windows 10 with the Creators Update.

I'm going to give it a try and I have it set to 9:00PM to start so we will see. I'm okay as I special blue light protection with my computer glasses.

Have been trying it since the Creators Update launched and to be honest it is a bit rudimentary compared to f.lux...which has more granular control of the lighting change. To be honest I am about to disbale the built in feature and go back to f.lux until Microsft improves the feature. :(

Interesting I will see tonight and never did like f.lux... so I got the Computer Glasses!

Would be interested in your view on this. Personally I find that the built in feature is too coarse and a bit unstable...but that may just be me. ;)

I have been using the "Night Light" for a few weeks now and I love it. Mine is set for sunset which is I assume the default and just left it like that but I do think it helps.

I find that it helps, there is no doubt about that...but I find that the slider to adjust the cast being used is somewhat coars and so it is not that easy to get just the right level required. Even when using the cursor keys to adjust the slider the increments are relatively large.
