We need to turn off Webroot moentarily while we troubleshhot a computer's slowness - how can I do this?

There's not a great way of doing that right now. Probably the best thing to do is put it an unmanaged policy while you're doing the troubleshooting. That way you can turn it off and on as needed from the client. Once you're done, put it back in the policy. You can use the Refresh Configuration command from the client to force it to check in and get the policy change update.
