Suspicious content, webroot warning

Disappearing behavior of laptops in console?
I was hoping one of the experts can explain what's going on to me? We have about 40 laptops that we're starting to add to our Webroot console. Upon polling through Group Management, they seem to come and go whenever I refresh or jump to the different Views. The All Endpoints view doesn't display all the laptops I've added at once. I thought that once they "phoned home" to the console that they would remain in the Endpoint lists but that's not the case here. For example, just while typing this post, my coworker next to me (503-307) his laptop is showing up in the first poll but when I refresh the view, his laptop with another disappear and are replaced by mine (503-308) and another coworkers. Refreshing again shows 503-307 is back and now 503-311 joined the group. 308, 318 and 325 are no where to be listed. I'm not changing anything that would prompt my laptop to disappear from the console... just typing here at the forum. I've looked at the other vi
Please help explain Endpoint protection - Antivirus vs Firewall
If a company has Webroot SecureAnywhere installed without the firewall feature enabled on all domain computers. Is it acceptable/Best practice to disable the windows firewall? Basically, leaving endpoints without any type of firewall? In this scenerio there is a Sonicwall NSA at the network edge and the company is considered a HIPAA covered entity.

How do i get the "fix this now" to work
Hi there, My subscription is active and under antivirus i have three warnings that suggest hitting the "fix this now" button will resolve the problem however nothing happens. I have tried reactiving the subscription on several occassions however nothing happens. Has anyone else encountered this? If so, please let me known how to fix it. Cheers
I have evidence that Cryptolocker went live on a client because a shared network drive was littered with the Help_Decrypt files all of which carried the user's name. No problem, restored from backup. However on the client itself it appears that webroot did as advertised and cleared up the infection, quaranteened the offending dropper and restored all encrypted files. Now onto the forensics of the event. Where can I see the logs that record exactly what happened and what actions were performed?

Endpoint installation alert not received in Gmail
I've created a support case on this issue; however, I am currently in a trial of the GSM. I setup an email alert to my Gmail address for new end point installations. The first few came through, but were very slow. Now I'm not getting any. The last dozen or so have not triggered any email alerts. Yes, I've checked my Gmail Spam folder, not in there. Anyone else have issues with alerts and Gmail (or alerts in general)?
Custom/brand software continuously blocked by Webroot.
HELLO, Our customers already and repeatedly had this problem. Custom software named "Bestia" and some actions performed by this soft are continuously blocked by Webroot. Last time I get info from Webroot Support that this problem was solved and some globally exclusion pattern was implemented. But this is not working well. But again Webroot blocks - for example Open Report action - because this action creates some random .dll files in Temp directory. It maybe has to do something with Bestia update but still this should be not an issue for you. After the initial WSA installation Bestia is sometimes blocked completely and then repeatedly some actions re blocked. So please, is it possible to implement some globally form and exclusion for this software because we had many clients (Town Offices) with the same issue and we need to solve this once and for all. Some technical questions - rather important
1. What application ports can be open to communicate the Webroot successfully with the cloud? 80 and something else? 2. What will happen - when during the scan Webroot lose access to the internet? Does the scan will be interrupted? 3. Just to be sure - Is it possible to manage the blocked processes and connections from the administrator console? 4. Is the workstation or server that useing unmanaged politics remember determination files identified as good or bad from the console? If yes, what is the pool interval time to get such command? I know that we can not edit it
Execution History limit
For the third time I have had to uninstall and reinstall because the Execution History gets to big to load. Can you please put a limit on how much history is kept or provide a mehod to manually delete the history (the reset button does not work if the history is too big to load)?
Too Many Websites Blocked
Hi, We utilise webroot proxy for our business and roughly 15 pc's work through it. One person in the business spends their day searching the web for new retail clients we can supply too. However, when trying to access a good number of these websites they are blocked by webroot. This happens regularily and makes their job very difficult as to get each one unblocked requires a phone call to the IT support company we use, then a series of calls to get authorisation and a delay whilst webroot access updates. Our IT support company say that retail websites should be accessible but time and time again they are blocked. We have asked about reducing the security settings to enable more freedom and they said they cannot without loweringit for everybody else and endangering the whole office. This is making webroot really unpractical for us and wondered if you could provide a solution to present to them as they appear reluctant to offer us any options. Thanks.
Program running Docstar scanning software after system had been up for about 7 hours.
Hello, Having a repeated issue with multiple machines where when trying to open our scanning software, Docstar, the computer locks up and won't free until we either manually end Webroot protection or reboot the pc. The issue happens daily on multiple computers for the last month, but not always at the same time. It seems to be revolved more around the amount of system uptime, meaning once the user reboots, everything fucntions as normal for about 6-7 hours then may crash again. As it is hard to recreate, we can't really get support to see it happening live. If it is happening live, the computer is 2 bogged down with the 2 applications fighting eachother, that we can't even get to a webpage to allow support to connect. We have added Overrides and Allow Applications for every 1 of the MD5s that I can find for Docstar and the problem still persists. Duplicate entries across multiple sites
I have yet to find a commonality, but random sites have been creating duplicate agent entries. I have found that a single machine could have anywhere from 1-3 duplicates, each checking in days or weeks behind the current/active agent; if that makes sense? Is there something we can do to resolve this issue? Thank you!
Why do some machines appear multiple times in my Webroot Account Dashboard?
I have two PC's and one Mac using Webroot on my subscription. However, when I just logged into my account dashboard for the first time in over a year, the dashboard claims 10 PC's are covered. It is counting the Mac once, but has four instances of one PC, and five instances of the other PC. What gives? There also does not appear to be any way of removing the duplicates.
hello, i bought endpoint for a client and did not get verification email to access console
hello, i bought the endpoint for a client and set up the email and password / pin. i received no email to confirm and can not access the account. when i attempt to login to the account it says invalid of course because i did not confirm it yet. so how do i get this fixed. i want to get this installed monday and need to fix this. i also attempted to request a "forgot" password as well as pin and did not get those emails either. the email we used was different then the one i purchased it with because they do not want to use my email of course. so what can i do to resolve this issue? thank you very much

I have your Webroot Endpoint Anywhere Protection for business. Why do I keep receiving alert message computer that my computer is infected with adware/spyware and not to shop online line. I'm suppose to be protected. I was assured this was your highest level of protection. Please respond ASAP!!! Concerned! Gabriella
