A PC in my company was infected with a varient of Crytowall, however Webroot did not catch this until after the PC had been infected and files on a network share had been encrypted. What I'd like to know is:

Will my other hosts running Webroot be protected?
How is this information collected and disciminated out to other hosts in my network?
Thank you.
Hi, I am trialling Webroot endpoint protection on a small network ( workgroup/no dedicated server) 3-5 endpoints. We have two physically separate networks ( 3 endpoint and 4 endpoint). As the 3 point network does not need a constant internet connection we share one broadband connection as necessary ( simply physically connect the router to the appropriate network's switch). On our lesser internet used network we recently had an external tech support technician log on do a remote sesion with Teamviewer to update some software. Although he could access the PC he was logged into he had problems accessing other files on mapped drives - he could "see" them but not access. I later discovered (email received late as internet connection was switched to smaller network) that Webroot had flagged an infection ( a false positive - both VirusTotal and Jotti's scan confirm ) on the PC he was logged into - Webroot is installed on that PC not the other two. I am now wondering
I have sent numerous uninstall commands, waited 10 minutes and rebooted the server. No Dice. I have tried to uninstall the program from Program and Features however receive a message that I cannot do this as Webroot is cloud managed and the uninstall must come from the web portal. So...No Dice. I have tried to uninstall it from the command prompt but it will not uninstall from there as I run into the same message as when trying to remove it from Programs and Features. So...NO DICE. I have sent the deactivate command and rebooted the server which did not uninstall the program as I understood that it would. SO...NO DICE! I have tried disabling the WRSA service and trying these again, all without success. Very frustrated!! There has to be a way to uninstall the program!!
Hello. I have loaded the software and have scanned my PC's. When I click the icon in the task bar and then try to open I recieve the following. "Please contact your network administrator to access the user interface of secure anywhere." I am the administrator I am logged in as administrator. Any Ideas? Regards from Dave.
We have multiple companies setup within our business family. Each company has a Web Security "Group" and each of the employees is a member of the respective Group. One of the GM's is looking for reporting on his company specifically. He would like the following metrics weekly: * Top 10 sites visited * Top 10 blocked sites * Time spent on the internet The kicker here is there are about 12 employees in this group. As best as I can figure out so far I am forced to configure 3 reports for *each of the 12 users....or 36 reports. I dont think that number is conducive to meaningful or easy-to-read data for the GM. I would like to find a way to generate 3 reports something like this: * One report that includes all 12 users (known as "Group") - Top 10 sites visited * One report that includes all 12 users (known as "Group") - Top 10 blocked sites * One report that includes all 12 users (known as "Group")&
Recently we are seeing that new installs of Webroot are refusing to run a scan and set there indefinitely. It doesn't happen always but the amount is increasing. The endpoint has to be manually uninstalled and re-installed. This makes deployment through automatic means like scripting very difficult as we don't want to have to individually check hundreds of Endpoints. We are seeing this across multiple customers with different network infrastructure. Yes, we have raised this issue with support, but the answer is always uninstall/re-install. I think there's more to it than that this time as the instance is increasing which makes me think that there is maybe a problem with the latest version of Endpoint? Cheers.
I'm evaluating Webroot SecureAnywhere Business Endpoint Protection for my organization and cannot see any evidence of the Web Threat Shield providing checkmarks or x's next to Google search results. I'm using Chrome 37.0.2062.103 m and IE 11.0.9600.17280 (tried 32 and 64 bit) Webroot version - 18.104.22.168 OS - Windows 7 Professional SP1 I deployed the MSI via group policy software installation as well as running the MSI manually. I have of course rebooted after installing, and all Webroot clients are using the default policy so the Web Threat Shield should be enabled by default. I've also checked http://www.amtso.org/feature-settings-check-phishing-page.html and it is blocked in IE but not Chrome. Our organization primarily uses Chrome. Can anyone comment on why some of these features are not working or only working in IE? Thank you kindly!
I'm trialing WSA Business Endpoint Protection and have found a lack of documentation regarding Protected Applications (PAs). Here are my questions:

How does WSA determine what programs to automatically add and their status (protected/allow/deny)? Right now it seems it has added my browsers. What if I don't want that to happen?
How can I set a default status for programs on a policy level?
How can I specify PAs on a policy level? It doesn't appear possible??
How is the admin (me) alerted when a workstation makes a block happen, or when a workstation has a new PA added with a "blocked" status?
Yes I am aware I can allow blocked applications on a per-client basis via the management console (and by selecting any number or workstations). But this is NOT viable when new clients are being added regularly. It looks like if we use this product then I'll need to disable Identity Shield altogether. It's a cool feature b

"SecureAnywhere has detected that the Windows Firewall is currently disabled..." Error pops often on
The below error pops up on many domain joined computers often. Clicking Yes or No does not stop it from popping up.
Sometimes when opening up Windows 7 I get a message telling me I cannot open because missing is wrPhreshPhish.dll. I simply click OK and move on. I find on Google that this is a dynamic link library from Webroot, which we have installed on our home PCs, but a search on Webroot turns up no results. Can anyone tell me what this is and whether we need this "dynamic library link"? LeoAbroad
Is it possible using the console to see and manage Web Threat websites that have been flagged when my users try to access them? Currently I have supression turned on so that my users cannot allow sites themselves when prompted by WebRoot. I am having to turn it off, access the site, allow it, then turn supression back on. It's not an ideal process. I've been unable to find anywhere within policies, groups, settings so far to manage website access. I've also noted that wehn I do allow a site, not entry is placed in the overrides area which is where I would have expected to find it. Perhaps I'm missing something? Thanks in advance.
I installed webroot. My main drating program needed an update. I tried to update and got Feature Transfer Error- Message Acess Denied. Unistalled webroot. Still wouldn't work. Uninstalled my program for fresh install. It still get the same access denied message for an intall. Got another install version. Same thing. Any ideas?
Two computers on my network, on one Webroot blocks a certain website page due to indicated detection of malicious content, on the other machine Webroot does not block this same page. Why would this be? They are identical Windows 7 machines and both show in good standing on my Webroot Group Management screen.
