Dear community, does anyone have windows 10 running with roaming profiles? I experience some problems, eg. "roaming profile cannot be synced completely - access denied." Once I remove Webroot from the workstation the error disappears. Any ideas?
New Whitelisted folders we added on Dec 8th and are still not getting pushed out to our Windows 10 computers. I whitelisted 4 folders for our PrimeSUITE application and it fixed the issue immediatly but I had to uninstall and reinstalled Webroot to make sure each computer got the new changes. On other computers I tried the wrsa.exe -poll command over and over but it did not help. We have over 500 computers so I can't continue to do this manually on every computer. Users keeps having issues with PrimeSUITE and I have to uninstall Webroot and reinstall Webroot to resolve the issue so that they get their folders whitelisted.
I know Webroot skips SQL files but won't a virus scan run much quicker if you whitelist an entire SQL folder. For example lets say you have one million .mdf files located in the D:SQL DATA folder. By whitelisting the D:SQL DATA folder Webroot will not even look at those .mdf files. As a computer programmer for many years I know that the code is asking “Is this a .mdf file?” If Yes, then skip it, “Is this a .mdf file?” If Yes, then skip it, “Is this a .mdf file?” If Yes, then skip it, and it will have to perform this line of code one million times. It’s quicker for Webroot to ask “Is this the D:SQL DATA folder?” If Yes, then skip the entire folder along with the one million files located within and move on. Even though Webroot skips .mdf files doesn't it the very least have to check the file type and determine that it is a .mdf file and therefore skip that file. Sounds time consuming and could slow things down.&nb

Hi, I am using a VPN to connect to a client's SQL Server database but I am unable to connect. One of the troubleshooting tips is to make sure that my firewalls aren't blocking the port that SQL Server usually listens to which is Port 1433. Is there a way for me to check this and if it is blocking it can I tell the firewall to allow connecting using that port. Thank you Steve
Recently over the holiday one of our machines had a suspect program pop up. For some reason it didn't delete it and rescan. As you can see the dwell time was 5 days!! What could have caused this?
I am using OS 10.13.1. When I shortcut between applications (Command + tab), the webroot icon is always one of the apps that appears as an option, along with, let's say Word, Firefox, whatever else I happen to be using. I never go to Webroot, so this is a distraction. How can I prevent it from appearing? (Just to be clear, I am not talking about the menu bar or the dock. I'm talking about a temporary window that appears when I'm using this very common shortcut.) Tx.
I know currently there is no way to delete sites but when speaking to a customer, they informed me that when speaking to Webroot, they were able to do so without creating a new console. We have a lot of deactivated sites such as test sites for demo purposes. Is there a way these can be deleted? I can provide all details accordingly, including who we are as we are known to webroot individually.
All, I'm requesting some help in defining what should be on the GSM Dashboard. Our current theory is that the default dashboard layout should provide Admins with a mix of information covering that you need to know now and that which is of interest but not urgent. For example, Need to know now

number of devices that require attention
devices that have not reported in for the last 7 days
detection trend over the last 7 days
Infected devices
Of interest but not urgent

total number of endpoints
total number of endpoints reporting in over the last 30 days
Devices count grouped by WSA Agent version
Number of endpoints in each site
List of Operating systems and count for each
Browsers and versions
Other AV and version
Last reported threat by site
There's lots of way we can slice up the data and I'd like to give you a default dashboard that is immediately useful which you can modif
All of the sudden, webroot reported W32.Trojan.Gen on my database server and shut off access. I ran another scanner and it reported all was well. I uploaded logs to Webroot. There appears to be no one I can speak to and I have no idea if Webroot knows what is going on with my Production server. I'm strongly thinking of manually overriding. Any ideas?

Our client has a server that has webroot secure anywhere installed on it via a centralized managed server. The old consultant is no longer working with the clients and has not removed the software from all the machines including this server. I need a manual process to remove all remnants of the product. The software does not show up in the add / remove programs option.
iMac 2001 macOS Sierra Version 10.12.3 (16D32) I've installed DWP Mac 1.0.057 Installer on our student iMacs in our lab and for some reason the DWP is just disapearing and the proxy is being removed from the browsers?? On the initial install it displays the DWP icon on the top menu bar. I apply the proxy setting to each of the browsers and then "HIDE" the button. However, for some reason the proxy settings are not "sticking"?? After a few days of use the browers are reverting to their previous non-proxy settings?? Is there a way to verify that the DWP starts every time the iMac starts? (If it has updates and restarts.) ** Also, is there some way to confirm the DWP is running once I "HIDE" the button? ** HELP! Thanks, JB
As an MSP I use the Webroot SA GSM portal to manage all my clients. I can't find any way to monitor or be alerted when clients devices haven't checked in for an extended time. If I go into the "sites" individually I can see a Last Seen date, but that is not an option if you have many sites. I also looked in the GSM dashboard tab, but don't see a chart showing that information. Isn't one of the main purposes of having an online portal so that you can verify that all your systems are updated and working? I recentely lost a client because we sold them this under the impression that we would contact them in the event that one of their systems was infected or outdated. They removed webroot and we didn't know anything about it. Any suggestions, or tips, maybe something I'm missing??
My alerts and any details I have been able to find in the console all refer to paths with variables that are not resolvable. Is it possible to get the full actual path of malware rather than it showing with variables like %appdata%??? The problem is I do not know which user so I cannot determine the path and more importantly who. This is an example of the issue. Who's appdata? I was playing a game with a few friends you know normal chilling. It randomly froze so I reset my computer because ctrl+alt+delete wasn't working so I was confused. When I reset BSOD appeared with windowssystem32driverswrkrn. I searched many different ways but I don't got USB stick or the windows installation disc. Can anyone help? If so I thank you so much because I have school and have a project that takes a while and I have 2 more weeks. Thanks to anyone who helps :) Sincerely, Alex/Flamestang
Webroot secureanywhere endpoint protection doesn't show up in program list to uninstall. running manual command to uninstall giives error that the service is centrally managed and must be uninstalled from webconsole. The customer does not have this info. The customer does NOT have contact with last IT vendor (relationship ended badly). How do I uninstall this borderline-malware, garbage software without formatting and reinstallinng windows?
We are having two issues with Mac users: 1. Webroot shortcut keys apparently conflict with override Adobe design apps. I'm surprised this is even a thing! Anyone deal with this before? 2. Same users work with big files off the server, and Webroot apparently slows the Macs to a crawl when users are opening these huge design files. It's making me think the Mac users should just go without AV at all, but I'm curious to hear from other IT managers and Webroot support on these issues. Thanks for reading!
I currently run my wireless clients over a VLAN. Lately (not sure when it started) my clients would get the message "The specified network file name is no longer available" when accessing the file shares. I disabled Webroot and the problem has gone away. V 220.127.116.11 If the clients are connected via ethernet they see no issue (Webroot enabled).
