Catalina version 10.15.7 for Mac - is this compatible with SecureAnywhere for Mac 9.1.3.103?

Apple just released macOS Catalina 10.15.7 on Sept. 24, 2020. Details of this update is available on MacWorld.

This update will likely be the last before Apple releases macOS Big Sur 11, later this fall.

Has anyone come across any incompatibility issues or problems running WebRoot SecureAnywhere 9.1.3.103 under macOS Catalina 10.15.7?

Looking at the comments on the community forum over the past few weeks, I assume there are no compatibility issues running 9.1.3.103 under Catalina 10.15.7.

This will be my last post to this topic.

Today Webroot released a new update 9.1.4.123. I just updated my mac from 9.1.3.103 to 9.1.4.123 with macOS Catalina 10.15.6 still installed.

I plan to install Catalina 10.15.7 this week with this new update.

That version should be compatible, but there’s just a metric butt load of issues with the MAC agent regardless of MAC OS version.

I’d make sure I have everything ready like a fresh installer as well as your keycode as well as support ticket/phone number ready to call when something goes wrong.

Hi Kimberchuck.

It sounds like you might be (or were) using an older version of SecureAnywhere?

The most current version available is SecureAnywhere for Mac 9.1.3.103, which resolved the update button issue. Version 9.1.2.121 had issues like what you described. There is a procedure posted here to fix the problem.

You can also contact Webroot Support (it’s FREE if you have a software subscription) and Submit a Support Ticket. Please mention the current version of SecureAnywhere you have on your mac, what version of Catalina your are currently using, and explain your issue. Be patient, as it may take 1 to 2 days for support to respond. They will help you. Months ago they were very helpful in fixing my problems and  reinstalled the software for me.

Except it doesn’t work. Just downloaded it but my keycode won’t activate it. Brilliant ...have an open access to the supposedly latest compatible version ...but don’t tie the keycodes for customers who have paid for this now piece of crap software to access it.

These differences with the latest version of iOS Catalina have been known for a *long* time. Webroot apparently sat on their collective asses rather than doing their homework ...and now they are so far behind the eight ball it’s not funny. Hopefully some folks got fired  ...but probably not. I think it’s time for a refund …..adios Webroot ...

I can’t get an update on 10.15.7  I’ve had a greyed out icon for Webroot since I updated.  I've tried uninstalling, reinstalling.  Nothing is working.
