Hello @StuinGermany

Any problems with Webroot on Mac computers I would recommend getting in contact with Webroot Support to sort this problem.

Webroot Support:

Submit a ticket

Call 1-866-612-4227

Note: When submitting a Support Ticket, Please wait for a response from Support. Putting in another Support Ticket on this problem before Support responses will put your first Support Ticket at the end of the queue.

HTH,

Dave

Hi Dave

I had opened a ticket before (see below) however I couldn’t access the link, and I have left a message on my last post (for the same Issue) but there’s been no reply as yet.

Hi there,

Thanks for contacting Webroot Support.

This can be done so by following the steps outlined in the link below:

https://docs.webroot.com/us/en/business/wsab_endpointprotection_adminguide/wsab_endpointprotection_adminguide.htm#ManagingEndpoints/DeployingSecureAnywhereToEndpoints.htm%3FTocPath%3DManaging%2520Endpoints%7C_____1

If you are looking for a script, please see the link below, but please note that the script itself is provided as it is as Webroot Support does not troubleshoot or support scripts:

https://community.webroot.com/installation-and-deployment-142/using-a-script-to-install-the-webroot-business-endpoint-protection-agent-to-macos-344501

Let us know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Andrei

The link works for me and for Mac look down the page? https://docs.webroot.com/us/en/business/wsab_endpointprotection_adminguide/wsab_endpointprotection_adminguide.htm#ManagingEndpoints/DeployingSecureAnywhereToEndpoints.htm%3FTocPath%3DManaging%2520Endpoints%7C_____1

To use the SecureAnywhere installer for Mac:

  1. On the endpoint, download the SecureAnywhere installer file.

The installer file is available from the Resources tab or by clicking this link:

    http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsamac.dmg

  1. Download the SecureAnywhere installer to your Mac.
  2. Double-click wsamac.dmg to open the installer.
  3. Double-click the Applications folder to open it.
  4. In the Applications folder, double-click the Webroot SecureAnywhere icon to begin activation.
  5. In the first activation window, from the Language Selection drop-down menu, select a language and click the Next button.

Note: Make sure you select the appropriate language. Once SecureAnywhere installs, you cannot change it.

  1. In the next panel, enter your keycode and click the Activate button.

  1. Follow any remaining on-screen prompts to complete the installation.

To send an email to end users so they can install SecureAnywhere themselves:

  1. Click the Resources tab.
  2. Click the Email template link.

The email template displays in the How to get started window.

  1. Cut and paste the text into an email message. The link adds the correct keycode for the user. Send the email to the users.

The user clicks the link to begin installation. The program installs in the background, with the correct keycode already entered. When the process completes, a Webroot icon displays in the endpoint's system tray.

Hey everyone,

We archived old knowledgebase content on the community due to not having support for keeping the content updated. It has all moved to the answers.webroot.com as that is what is currently kept up to date and that we have showcased on our community homepage.

What you are looking for is in that knowledgebase as well

https://answers.webroot.com/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=12&app=vw&vw=1&solutionid=3901

We have started to remove the SEO to prevent people from encountering these archived links from Google, but we’re in that transitionary stage where it can definitely still show up in google and other search engines but they show up after the answers.webroot results

Please let us know if we can help you find what you need on our knowledge base site :)
