Does the Webroot application installed in Mac OS (Sierra) extend protection to Windows running in an emulation (Parallels) within the Mac OS environment?  Or should Webroot *also* be installed into the Windows enviroment?

Hello Jeff-in-GA

Welcome to the Webroot Community,

Sorry to say you will need to install Webroot when running Parallels with Windows.

Hope this helps?
Sherry, thank you.  Just to confirm: Webroot would then be installed twice on the same computer and, therefore, running simultaneously, without conflicting between them.  Is that right?

Hi Jeff!  If I understand it right you are running Sierra and Windows right? In Parallel. That's like when we run a VM in Windows we have to install Webroot in the VM's as well. There should not be any conflict between the two. If there is you can always Submit a Support Ticket free of charge and they will check this out for you.

You are most welcome!
