Webroot Not Scanning
Hello, I just renewed my membership and it seems that it will not scan my MacBook Pro. I go to a college that uses examplify and am wondering if anyone knows if that software has ruined my scanning on my webroot security. I have not had this issue until my school had changed to this test taking software. It always wants me ti disable my virus protection and I always say no. So I am wondering if the examplify software has messed it up without my permisson. I also would like to know how to fix this porblem with my webroot so it will scan. I go into the app/ file whatever you would like to call it to go ahead and run a scan on my computer, everythin works normally until i click scan my computer and it will run for about 3 seconds and then say scan cancelled. What can i do to fix this.
Webroot problems on MacBook Pro
I purchased five licenses and have used only three. I recently purchased a new MacBook Pro and migrated everything from my 2015 MacBook Pro (now intended to serve as a spare) to the new one with the help of an Apple specialist. Turns out that Webroot does not want to work on the new machine and, instead of asking me for a code or new license, or simply standing down, it generates a never-ending dialog box loop that renders my new MacBook Pro useless. I asked Webroot for help last Friday, because I would have liked to use my new machine this weekend, but there is no way to connect with a human over the telephone, and no live chat seems to be offered. So far I have gotten no response. I tried to log-in to this community tonight using the name and password I saved on 1Password when I first purchased Webroot, and was told I entered an invalid user name or password. So I created a new account for this purpose. Question: how do I get Webroot either to work on my new Mac or go away? I
Form fill profile
I have used the form file feature for years. Now suddenly my profile is blank and every time I reenter the data and click save, nothing saves. My computer also won't save info on other forms I try to use online. Don't know if it's a webroot problem or a setting on my Macbook air. Please help! Thanks.
Permanently erase a file not available for Macs?
I purchased Webroot Secure Anywhere for my mac from Best Buy. I cannot seem to find the feature to permanently erase a file. On the PC version it was as simple as a right-click on any file and a drop-down menu showed the option to permanently delete the file. Is this feature not supported on the Mac version?
Webroot for mac crashes OSX 10.14.6
So trying to install Webroot Secureanywhere for Mac. I have a MacPro 5.1 running Mac OSX 10.14.6 (latest) As I work from home sometimes on my Mac our IT guys thought I should have some protection since I remote into our servers. They sent me a link to download wsamacsme.dmg. Opened to .dmg and dragged the .app into my applications folder. Double clicked to install. Install worked great. Icon on the tool bar, app started the initial scan and crashed after 40 seconds. Icon on tool bar disappeared, tried to click on app in applications folder... nothing happened, tried to delete the app but said it was still running, then Google Chrome opened (which I don't ever use) and wanted to install an extension. Completely removed Webroot and reinstalled - same thing, same timeframe, same everything. Any ideas appreciated Cheers John
Mac owner and when I open Safari, there are pop us and a voice saying to call the # to rid virus.
Hi, I'm a mac owner who really isn't a techie. I have a problem with Safari. My solution has been to use Firefox, but I need to return to Safari. How do I overcome the pop that controls the safari screen and insists I call the number provided to rid of the virus? Thanks for your help!
Webroot software won't scan
So I renewed my Webroot subscription and everytime it attempts to scan now, it tells me it can't connect to the server. I had a tech go through my computer and clean it too, just in case something in my system was blocking the softwares ability to scan (yes, I have a paid subscription for that). I already submitted a support ticket, but is anyone else having a similar issue?

Unable to activate WebRoot
I bought Webroot SecureAnywhere® AntiVirus 3 Year Renewal for Mac in Jan 19. I have just noticed that when I tried to activate it then, it didn't work and it hasn't completed a scan yet. When I enter my keycode and click Activate, I get "WebRoot SecureAnywhere quit unexpectedly". I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling from the link but I get the same result. I'm running Mojave. Any assistance gratefully received.

Mac Deployment Issues
I'm currently working with a client site that's rolling out the Mac edition to about 140 endpoints. We're using Meraki to run a command line install and so far we've got about 110 that have successfully completed and checked in with the console. Based on the logs, the remaining 30 appear to be running the initial scans but not checking in with the console - there's maybe one attempt to pull data in the logs for the unsuccessful versus about 7-8 pulls for the successful ones. The network does not have any firewall restrictions set up, and the issues exist even trying a couple different network connections. We've also pushed a -poll command to everything that hasn't checked in which does not seem to have done anything. What else can we do to get the rest to check in?
PUA.OSX.MacKeeper.r Found In Apple Time Machine Backups
PUA.OSX.MacKeeper.r has been popping up in TimeMachine backups over the past few years and where thought to be false positives. I recently purchased a new Macbook Pro, a new TimeCapsule and connected it to a newly built network with no other devices connected to it. Within five minutes of starting the first TimeMachine backup, PUA.OSX.MacKeeper.r was deteced by Webroot. Any thoughts?
